BMW R1150 GS
Incredibly low mileage, owners and now price: UK ABS model.
First registered new in the UK in 2002, complete with all manuals and books including the original Sales Invoice and PDI sheet. The service book is stamped with the first service at 602 miles and the same supplying BMW dealer checked the brakes and changed the oil three years later at only 883 miles so it was hardly used by the first owner who sold it in 2014. The second owner treated it to new sintered ceramic disc pads and had it serviced at 3052 miles in June 2015. The last owner had new tyres fitted in August 2015 and it currently shows only 3,209 miles on the odometer. Both V5 and V5C registration documents are present and correct as are the numbers, and bike had a clear MCN bike check in August 2015. We know the previous owner well so all good.
Condition is typical BMW of this era; a bit suspect in places due to low levels of corrosion on some of the painted parts. Forks and front suspension has been touched up with silver and the front of the engine paint is bubbling a bit in places. Some new fasteners would lift the condition to excellent but it clearly hasn’t been stored in a completely dry place by the looks of it. It’s not about the condition on this machine, it’s about the miles. This has done very few and is capable of very many so it needs riding. Best colour in black with the red seat, it has the optional ABS and panniers and touring screen and de-cat Y-piece (std screen and cat with it). Great bike.
