Honda CL350
A good low mileage example of Honda’s excellent Street Scrambler.
An American import of course; this one has been in the country for a good few years but only registered in 2009; on a correct age related number plate. What you see here is a part-finished project but worth showing now in case we are approached by interested fettlers wanting to complete the project. The engine is running now; all sorted and sounding very good indeed; no problems with cam chain/ chainwheel wear or sticky adjusters. But it does still need setting up as you can hear, in fact the carbs will be stripped cleaned and rebuilt before it is sold. And it needs a new seat or seat cover; the base is in excellent condition. It also needs some tidying but it’s nearly there and could be anything from a very original machine with patina to a stunning part-restored bike with little more than a new paint job. Considering it is unrestored the condition of frame and chrome is exceptionally good. We do have a NOS tank but it’s to fit a European model CL350 so whilst it’s exactly the right colour it has fittings for knee pads and is actually slightly wider. Well I never knew that. Anorak on.
