Suzuki Production Road Racer
More than a replica; a clone of the 1970 Production TT winning Crooks Suzuki T500.
This very special clone of the Crooks Suzuki Production Racer ridden to victory in the 1970 Production TT by Frank Whiteway has been built from the ground up using the best parts and with an attention to detail that sets it apart from a mere replica. Full tech spec and first hand riding report by a well known classic racer and journalist is available on request. The donor bike is a 1973 road registered T500 and this makes it very unusual for a race spec bike in that it is road legal. Restoration highlights are a powder coated frame, new bearings and seals all round, reworked suspension, alloy rear sets, tuned barrels, right hand gear change, 19″ Akront rims and a fuel tank modelled exactly on the original machine’s design but with more effective internal baffles. This is a genuine 115mph motorcycle; a very serious machine indeed.
