Amazingly complete matching numbers UK YAS1 125cc two stroke twin for restoration.

VWD 145S was first registered on 3rd October 1969 and the old style V5 records no keepers since 1977. Bought to restore by CSB a good few years ago and hardly started as you can see, we need the space so she has to go. The story was that the bike was pushed into a garage in working order early 1970s and just left to rot. And that’s what it has done, obviously no cleaning or spraying with the magic WD40 has gone on before she was abandoned and the result is plain to see. The good news it that it’s all there including the original key, registration number plates, V5 document and a tax disc. A start has been made on the seat base and a repleacement rear mudguard has been copper plated prior to chroming but really has deteriorated since then and will need lots of work to reclaim. Nothing else has been touched. The engine turned over fine and sure it still will but it’ll have to come apart anyway so it’s not important. Well worth restoring because the engine, frame and registration numbers are all correct and it’s all there. Lots of work warning with this one!
