BSA C15 Trail
A newly built BSA trail bike, road registered with V5C and everything working. Taken in part exchange with little known about the history but what is plain to see is that it’s had a lot of money thrown at it. You can see new wheels with alloy rims, mudguards, tank, seat and nicely painted oil tank and side panel make it a very attractive proposition. The engine has been rebuilt too, and it actually sounds and runs like it has been rebuilt well (most of the bike we get offered come with “rebuilt engines” where you wish they hadn’t been touched) starting easily and running quietly and without smoke. No documentation to show what was done in there but it certainly sounds like all is well. It has spent a while in the workshop getting everything in the right place and working and there will be some final fettling to do by the new owner as it hasn’t been used since the rebuild. A test ride reveals a willing engine and good brakes (for the size of them) and with such light weight and those knobbly tyres it will tackle the odd green lane with confidence. In fact it is a bit harsh on the road with those tyres. It does have a good look to it with the alloy tank, rims and mudguards giving it a proper off-road character. Plenty of potential.
