Just recommissioned by Classic  Bike Workshop and now available for sale with an extensive work record including all new fluids, oils filters, the all-important cam belts, plugs… you name it, thorough job. This is #1 of a very limited production run in 2004/5. It has been in a collection of rare machines, unused for the last 18 years at least. Mileage is unrecorded due to the battery odometer having gone flat but evidence points to a few miles, maybe a hundred? Definately not a thousand by the looks of the belts that came out and the hardly-marked discs. Ownership history and provenance is excellent and the significance of this particular model is unquestionably high. Budget around £30k depending on recommissioning costs (haven’t done the workshop invoice yet) and consider that a lower-spec version was sold in the USA ten years later for twice the price in USD so this first-out-of-the-factory machine is the one to have. It has never been registered in the UK but believed first sold new in the UK and we can have it registered on an age-related number if so desired. Video notes, new battery and charge lead now fitted so starts instantly and full charge easily maintained (the battery is hidden in the seat unit). Everything works, will have an MOT certificate on sale. Air suspension is adjustable front and rear but it is about right now and ground clearance is minimal as you can see. Test report to follow when I’m brave enough. This is a bold imaginative machine, all carbon and alloy, light as a feather, a modern classic if ever there was one. This is literally just out of the workshop and will be displayed on our stand at the Stafford Show 26-27 April.
