BMW R45
Very underrated boxer twin, lots of money spent and a new MOT.
Rebuilt and restored to a good if not show-winning standard, this bike has had all the money spent on it and recent attention with Classic Bike Workshop has got it running very smoothly. So she needs riding and settling down and some miles on the clock to realise her full potential. Newly MOTd, V5C and lots of invoices on file and there is a riders handbook too. This is not a matching numbers machine, having had a replacement engine of the correct type and age when it was all rebuilt. Pretty much all standard except the seat has been modified at the rear for some reason but it’s tidy enough. Absolutely no idea if the recorded mileage is correct as the bike was built using the best of two machines and there is no record of which parts were used in this build. It’s largely irrelevant anyway as the engine and most of the cycle parts have been refurbished and rebuilt. Nice quality powder coating to the wheels and other components including the frame, paint is good all round and many of the shiny bits are new, some in stainless steel. Bargain classic motorcycling with the potential to be reliable and fun for many miles to come.
