Moto Guzzi Falcone
Classic ‘Guzzi 500cc single in fine original fettle.
A truly lovely 1958 example of Moto Guzzi’s iconic and desireable 500cc single. Looks original and unrestored, although it may have had some high quality restoration a while ago; it’s hard to tell. Looks original to me, darker original red colour can be found inside the little pannier boxes and where the number plate was. This machine has been in the personal possession of Peter Imrik of Motomania in Hungary before the one UK owner imported it to form part of an impressive Italian collection which is now being “rationalised”. We will post a video when the bike has been checked over by Classic Bike Workshop and fine-tuned for road riding. Everything works, it has an MOT and will be sold with a correct UK age related registration number. The engine starts easily and runs without undue noise or smoke, even before fettling, so it’s more than just a looker. Not a lot of paperwork but enough history provided by Peter to enable the registration process and of couse it will have a new V5C and MOT certificate even though it doesn’t need one now, being pre-1960. We love them like this; really really does not need restoring! All UK registered now with a period number plate and ready to ride!
