A lovely unmolested unrestored BSA Street Scrambler from the USA.

A rare late 1968 build 1969 model Firebird with many original parts never to be found on a restored machine. It would be hard to find a more original example of BSA’s iconic street scrambler 650cc twin. Recently imported from the States, fully registered in the UK and MOTd with all the paperwork present correct. What you see is the original factory paint! Correct wheel rims, original chrome, correct tinware original paint, correct exhaust, original chrome…. And the bike has been improved since the pictures and video were taken in our own workshop. The rear wheel has been rebuilt with a new spoke replacing the broken one, a new tube and rear tyre fitted and the engine has had a top end rebuild with new valve guides. Condition of engine internals suggest recorded mileage may be correct and many parts of this bike have not had a spanner on them. The ignition has been set up with a strobe and the carbs cleaned and tuned to perfection so it idles smoothly now and sounds a lot quieter with new valve guides and everything adjusted and balanced. There is a new oil filter kit with it, ready and easy to fit if the new owner intends to do some miles. The tank is also secured in a better position with new fittings and new chrome trim on the tank. Looks and sounds better all round. Lovely now.
