Standard original Atlas export model; rare and desireable in red with single carb.

A lovely slightly older restoration, nicely done in red with beautiful chromed original deep-valanced mudguards and standard single monobloc carb; correct for this year. Matching numbers, all paperwork correct and registered on an age related number from import in 2011. Just recommissioned in our own workshop after little recent use, in fact almost no use as we know it. So, it took a bit of fettling but it’s now strobe-timed to perfection, fuelling efficiently and ready for some miles. Extended test rides resulted in a mag failure and while that’s off and away being refurbished we will fit a new timing chain to quieten down the otherwise very sweet sounding engine. The seat has now been rebuilt by RK Leighton to original specification and it completes what is a very pretty picture indeed. This bike has just passed an MOT test. New pictures will be uploaded if it doesn’t sell before all the new parts are fitted and working.
