Lightweight street scrambler with the trusty Honda 175cc twin engine as seen in the UK’s CB175.

This lovely unrestored unmolested and very original low mileage CL has been a frequent visitor to Classic Super Bikes since being imported from the USA and first registered in the UK in 2011. We are very fond of the way this bike looks and performs, perfect for Vintage Motorcycle Club runs and very friendly towards a more mature or less experienced owner due to an electric as well as kick start, fine surefooted handling, light weight and low seat height. Not to mention Mr Honda’s legendary reliability of course. Original paint is showing its age in places as you would expect but chrome is bright and the seat is in remarkable condition. Everything is working as it should and you can expect it to stay that way due to low mileage and the fact that it’s been left alone other than routine servicing. The last owner was a regular CSB customer and he exchanged it for another classic Honda. In his ownership the bike’s condition has improved and it has been in regular use with frequent visits to Classic Bike Workshop for over-attentive service work. Oil has been changed every 750 miles, the engine filter and screen have been cleaned, the ignition timing and carburettors set and balanced perfectly, swing arm has been removed and bushes greased, same with pivot shaft on mainstand, new chain and 16 tooth front sprocket. Get the picture? It really has been well looked after and very carefully ridden by a mature and experienced owner. This bike has won two awards in local classic bike runs and quite deservedly so. These are old pictures but she’s even better now and mileage is 9,538 now.
