BSA’s street scrambler is rare and sounds like absolutely nothing else!

Largely unrestored but completely rebuilt engine, finely fettled recently by Classic Bike Workshop and running really sweetly, if you can call something this loud sweet? It is a genuine 1967 Hornet; a matching numbers machine; first registered in the UK in 2016 on a correct age-related number. It was rebuilt by a friend of the one UK owner who is known locally (Suffolk) for his excellent work so although there is nothing documented it comes with a high degree of confidence in the quality of the rebuild. The head was completely rebuilt with new valve guides and valves if needed (he can’t specifically remember if they did valves on this bike). The engineering work was done at Radco Engineering who have a very good reputation. The bores were fine so honed and pistons fitted with new rings. The bottom end was rebuilt with all new bearings, crank re-ground -10 and the sludge trap was cleaned out. The gearbox was rebuilt with a repair to the inner cover and new bearings throughout. Lots more including new primary chain and he thinks a new oil pump, basically anything less than excellent was done.
