BSA C11G Spares Project
C11G/C11 restoration project or for spares. Assembled loosely so you can see how complete it is.
BSA C11G Frame number BC11S 4890 left the factory in 1955 and records suggest it has spent most of it’s life in Zimbabwe in the private ownership of Major Ivor Ingall of the British Military Advisory and Training Team. Imported to the UK in 1981; for which there is documentary evidence; there is no sign of the bike having been registered in the UK since then. When the 1952 C11 engine; ZC11 27262; was transplanted is unknown, but it was there in 1981 and it looks like this machine had been together for a while before being stripped for restoration and left in a garage. Some of the “tinware” parts such as mudguards and tool box have been stripped and primed for painting but most of the parts have just been left as they were. This machine could be UK registered if rebuilt to MOT standard. Lots to do if you consider this a project, or an easy strip for parts as we have assembled it loosely from boxes to show what’s there and what’s missing.
