Very nicely restored Z1A in superb mechanical and cosmetic condition.

This truly excellent example of Kawasaki’s second incarnation of their classic groundbreaking 900cc four was first registered in Sweden and has only just been imported to the UK following a complete rebuild and restoration. No documentation relating to the renovation work but the bike speaks for itself and we do know this. Complete nut and bolt rebuild in 2006, engine bored to 1015cc with new pistons, valves, guides and camchain to name a few of the many new parts fitted. Starts on the button or kick, idles smoothly, revs cleanly without smoke or vibration, seems fast and powerful on the road, stops well with double discs. The original chain oiler is still behind the left side panel and some spares come with the bike. You can tell it’s been done properly and set up with care and experience. The document file includes a parts book, the original Riders Handbook which lives under the seat in the tail-piece, the odd invoice for parts (new rims) various books and what looks like a complete ownership history in the form of registration document printouts (all in Swedish). There are also some bags of metal-flake particles which were used in the paint and a helmet-hook decal! The bike will be MOTd on the frame number and is registered on the NOVA database so the new owner will be easily registered as first UK keeper and we can help with this.
