Suzuki TL1000S
Low mileage example of Suzuki’s iconic 90s big V Twin with the infamous rotary rear damper that led to instant cult status.
A short lived model (1997-2001) with a universally acclaimed engine, Suzuki’s 125bhp 996cc v-twin was let down in the handling department by it’s unusual (for a bike)rotary rear damper. The combination of monster engine, lively handling and radical styling earned it a largely undeserved reputation as a bad boy bike. Look at this one; such a sweety. Until you ride it. Well actually with the original pipes and rear mudguard (with it) it’s quite tame compared so some modern day pocket rockets, and without doubt one of the most exciting emerging classics to own now. This example has benefitted from some good recent service work; runs really well; and has a stack of old MOTs to support the low recorded mileage. Some old service bills on file, along with the original handbook and service book full of stamps. Grab it while you can, we don’t see many like this and it’s a 996 v-twin with a difference!
