Triumph TRW
Returning to stock soon, this is the sought-after MkIII version of Triumph’s adorable classic army twin; the TRW. All the identifying plates and original features of this iconic model have been preserved beautifully, as has the rest of the machine which is in largely unrestored condition. This model had the later Lucas electrics and we think it served in Germany before being imported and first registered in the UK in 1990. According to the timing cover engine plate it had a refurbished engine installed in 1968; a common occurrence; and the brass plate on the chainguard confirms it is the 1964 model. The bike sits on original Dunlop rims in excellent condition, new tyres in 2018 and much of the paint is original with some tinware showing the original through the army drab green overpaint. Lovely patina throughout and even the panniers (removable quickly) are in sound condition. The document file is comprehensive and includes manuals, parts list, a collection of old MOTs and even the old V5 registration document. Comes from a good home too, so if you’re looking for something different, easy to start and ride, likely to be reliable and turn heads then this lovely little side-valve tele-rigid triumph might tick all the boxes?
