The best GS PD we have seen, very well sorted.

An extremely well preserved 1992 R100 PD imported from Germany and registered in the UK in 2014. This is the best we’ve seen in a number of respects; all the rare and important original parts like the belly fairing, side stand and headlamp guard have survived and it’s recently had over £2,000 spent on improving the bike’s performance. Bavarian Adventure Morotcycle World (BAMW) have fitted new YSS rear shock, Hyperpro front fork springs, high output voltage regulator, push rod tube seals and top-end gaskets, carb parts and more, all detailed on an Invoice dated 15/03/2015 with 36,102 km on the clock (currently 36,158 is about 22k miles). The work also included fitting exhaust downpipes and de-cat Y-piece, a 320mm disc brake conversion with new Brembo ceramic composite pads, throttle cables and of course a full service. The bevel drive, swing arm and gearbox were all stripped inspected, cleaned, greased and reassembled with the comment “clearly been done recently” so all good there. The carbs were rebuilt and it runs like they have been, and the SLS system was removed and holes plugged with SS plugs. What you’ve got is an exceptionally attractive example of an early GS in excellent original condition, fully serviced and fine-tuned to go and stop better than most would think possible.
