Much sought-after mono-lever model needing love.

The good news is it’s a monolever airhead boxer twin, mechanically good, starting easily and sounding a bit rattley like they all do. No undue smoke or camchain noise, no evidence of leaky pushrod seals so it’s had some attention at some time in the past. It’s all there including panniers and crashbars so if it’s an RT you want this could be it. Nobody wanted them though, did they? But they do now, for bobber boxers and cafe boxers and scrambler boxers just like the new NineT but the real deal and a quarter of the price! So here’s your chance, snap it up as a project and do the world a favour by consigning the barn door fairing to the nearest landfill site along with all the other unnecessary accouterments that adorn this model. You can tell I don’t much like RTs, but love the old Beemers and actually this is a lovely purple colour, apart from the lower right fairing which has been hand finished with an aerosol after some accident damage repair on that panel.
