BMW R90S
Now back in stock: original P registration and matching numbers; a superb R90S in every way.
Lovingly restored and cherished by every owner since, this superb R90S has only covered about 3,000 miles since full restoration. These are the latest September 2017 pictures and video, replacing the older ones you may have seen on this website before. Keith Shaw restored machines rarely come on the market (he used to build to order) and always command a premium. This UK R90S has been completely restored, including a full mechanical rebuild of engine, gearbox and differential. This included post 1984 rocker gear, a torsion damper in the drive shaft, slickshift gearbox mods, electronic ignition and progressive fork springs. All fasteners and some components (full exhaust, carb intakes, rear brake rod etc) have been replaced with stainless steel. The paint was done by Dream Machine (the only company Keith Shaw will use). The frame has been stove enamelled. Both wheels were rebuilt with stainless spokes. Keith always incorporates some tasteful improvements to his machines (sensible engine mods, master cylinder moved to the handlebars, deeper engine sump, fork brace etc). It has newish Hepco & Becker Traditional panniers (look exactly like the Krausers, but much better finished and a far superior pannier to frame locking system) and recent chrome pannier frames. A full document file includes lots of invoices, old MOTs and riders/owners manuals with handwritten service notes. Oils & filters were changed recently and valve clearances were adjusted too. It has just been checked out by Classic Bike Workshop so the bike is ready to ride anywhere. Previously sold by CSB and glad to have her back.
