Honda VFR750R RC30
Low mileage UK RC30 in good standard condition.
First registered in the UK on 11th April 1988, five owners until the last gentleman who bought the bike in 1996 with 10,000 miles on the clock. Single ownership for 20 years with less than 1,000 miles covered in a significant private motorcycle collection, this was one of two bikes loaned to the Honda Institute for display at their training headquarters. There is a good service history with this bike, most recently and most importantly the carbs were stripped, cleaned and tuned to standard perfection by a professional Honda mechanic well known to us and highly admired by us. A collection of early MOTs confirm the mileage displayed is correct, as does the service book. The service record shows the valves were shimmed less than a thousand miles ago and all the data is on file to see. There is even the odd tax disc, but no riders manual or stand with this bike. Really good original condition but please note the screen is not a Honda part and there are some paint chips that have been repaired poorly. Easily improved without spoiling the original paintwork which is unusually devoid of any of the bubbling so common with RC30s. The small repairs just need doing a little better and you won’t know they are there, but it’s honest as it is, exactly what you would expect given the history. There are two keys with it and an original chainguard and stickers come with it to replace the non-standard rear wheel hugger if you wish to return to completely standard specification. Or we will do it if asked. The engine is lovely, brakes have just been recommissioned by the same specialist before a new MOT is provided with the bike to the next owner. Nice UK bike, good investment in standard trim.
