A very early Z1 in largely unrestored condition although clearly it’s had new exhausts and paint. The value is in the numbers and the original parts and whilst the engine fitted is slightly later and there are some non-original parts this is a very rare 1972 production machine and will be valued accordingly by those who know. The frame number is Z1F 00810. Yes, it’s that early. Potential buyers of this machine will realise how rare it is and appreciate its potential value with some restorative work. Paint, for example, it’s the wrong colour. These machines have date stamps on so many parts and some of these original parts are correct for this model and some are not but the fact that so many are correct and the bike remains in generally unmolested condition makes it a rare find indeed. Engine number is 05400 by the way.
