Very low mileage early Z1A imported from USA and largely unrestored.

A very early example; frame 000191 is from the first week’s production; of Kawasaki’s iconic Z1A. Imported from California 16 years ago with only 5,000 miles on the clock, her 3 loving UK owners have only added another 5,000. All the correct date stamps and codes are present, as is the yellow security paint on critical nuts and bolts from new. Original rims, seat base and foam, superb chrome and all the rare parts are intact, including manual and tool kit. The bike has had some paintwork; certainly on the tank, not sure about side panels; a seat cover and quality reproduction exhausts but most of the machine is original and unrestored. Original factory finish laquer on the forks and engine is rare in this condition, and surviving details like the original cable ties add to the bike’s patina and real 70s feel.  The engine starts easily by thumb and foot, runs quietly and pulls cleanly and surprisingly willingly, indicating a life of good maintenance and recent use. Taxed and MOTd with new tyres; ready to ride and enjoy in her 40th anniversary year.
