Very low mileage low-owners first year of production Z1-styled 750 four.

A Canadian import from new, manufactured in 1991 for the 1992 model year, first registered in the UK in 1995 since when it’s five owners have covered less than 27,000 km which is less than 17,000 miles. Every single MOT certificate is on file to prove the recorded mileage, although she originally came to us with some minor age related mechanical issues which have been completely resolved in our workshop. Just returned to us in clean condition much as you see here, this bike is really very nice indeed although it’s a little older than shown in these pictures. About 2,500 miles ago the engine was completely rebuilt with new gaskets, seals and clutch cush drive rubbers to eradicate a slight oil weep and ensure smooth, quiet mechanical excellence. The carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt with new rubber manifolds, then perfectly balanced as you can hear. In excellent standard original condition throughout, this is a lovely low seated bike with modern brakes and performace but old-school retro charm in the style of the original Z1. You could give her a Z1a paint job and a chrome front mudguard to complete what Kawasaki weren’t quite brave enough to do, but here it is completely standard for the time being. Lots of motorcycle for your money, over 20 years old and now considered an  “Emerging Classic”. This very machine is featured in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Magazine, confirming how good it is and adding to the future resale value. This bike is returning to stock soon having covered a few miles since these pictures were taken. Relatively recently serviced with new front brake seals and MOT, used regularly so she’s ready to ride.
