Norton Model 18
A very nice Girder fork Norton single, mechanically excellent in “oily rag” condition. An older restoration which has developed it’s own patina over the years. Lots of original parts with the exception of those rust-prone Radelli replacement wheel rims but it has an old-school charm and the easiest starting and sweetest running engine. Frame and engine numbers are correct and intact but not matching. A late 1936 manufactured frame was first registered in 1937 and now houses a 1947 Model 18 500cc engine of the correct type with the correct factory stamps. There is a good document file with this machine including handbook, manual and parts list along with a collection of old MOTs and the tax discs. Character by the bucket-full.
