A lovley Puch 60cc Cheetah moped/scooter with three speed hand change and manual clutch. These engines were superb performers in terms of power and reliability, as any child of the ’70s will know who owned the Sports Moped this engine developed into; the VZ50. This early scooter was way ahead of it’s time and reminds us how good simple design can put a smile on our face as well as get us around, dare I say in style? This particular example has had hours and £££s spent on restoration and recently had a good few hours in our workshop making everything work as it should. Don’t expect particularly powerful lights, but it all works and the engine is a sure fire 100% first time starter. Kick forward on the right side lever and off you go. Pretty much standard except for the addition of a sensible handlebar switch to handle all the electrics. Great fun, will need running in as the engine is like new, and expect some adjustments with use as she’s done no miles whatsoever since the ground-up restoration. Nice collection of pictures and invoices and some spares come with this lovely little bike. At this price you could break for spares and make a profit.
