A thorough mechanical overhaul and top-end engine rebuild make this a very special and stylish TriBSA 750cc twin! Constructed from a 1955 BSA Shooting Star frame and a 1953 Thunderbird engine (dating certificates on file) this machine has had twice what we’re asking spent on it (not unusual for specials) and it shows. The most recent and well documented restoration was completed by Classic Bike Workshop to a very high standard using new parts including the beautiful chrome Catalina fuel tank, seat, stainless mudguards, handlebars and so much more. Many bespoke parts have been engineered specially to achieve the result you see which is clean and uncluttered without compromising quality or operation. The bike has been completely re-wired and includes electronic ignition and solid-state regulation/rectification for strength and reliability. The engine came as a healthy runner and it’s just been stripped, timed and tuned to start and run smoothly and reliably as you can hear. The list of what’s been done to create such a beautiful looking and sounding special is too long to detail but the recent work records are captured in invoices on file. All registered on a DVLA number and age-related registration number. The pictures show the original slash-cut open pipes but after the top-end rebuild the video captures it with the additional silencer which does make it much more civilised for road use. The original chronometric speedometer has now been replace with an electronic Smiths instrument by the last owner so that’s the way it is now. Everything works, starts well, rides well and goes very well indeed!
