Triumph 750 Bonneville
Recently imported low mileage USA model 750 Bonnie in black.
Yet to be registered in the UK so you’ll be the first registered keeper if you buy this USA spec T140V. We’ve just spent a fortune on this bike bringing it up to a good standard: NOS silencers, new Amal carbs and side panels, lots of mechanical work included fitting a new Pazon electronic ignition system and associated electrical upgrades. Brake pads and other service items have been replaced as required and a test ride tells is it was worth the work. Still a few things to go though; you can hear a tinkle on the video; that’s the new front brake lever vibrating (needs a new bush, forgot to order that with the lever) and the fuel tank is making a louder deeper vibrating noise which will disappear when mounted properly. The tank paintwork isn’t brilliant and is showing signs of fuel seepage at the rear seam (might have been vibrating for a while) so for this price you get a new tank or this one repaired and painted any colour you like! Mechanically excellent as you would expect from a low mileage engine; no smoke or undue noises to worry about. These gutsy 750s are a joy to ride and this is no exception, handles well and feels good to ride with the high USA bars giving plenty of control and comfort.
