Triumph T100R Daytona
A very nice late Daytona, matching numbers and original registration from 17th January 1974 when it was first registered. There is no record of it ever being registered overseas so this is a 1972 model UK machine which left the factory in February 1972 and probably sat in a dealer for a while. The registration is from the West Riding of Yorkshire but there is no dealer sticker to confirm. It has clearly been restored to some degree at some time in the past, and quite nicely too. Mechanically quiet, easy to start and running well on the original points ignition. Condition is way above average whilst showing some patina as expected from a slightly older restoration. There is lots to like about the later 500 twins; stronger engines and practical touches like indicators, new switchgear, rear grab rail, oh and the excellent TLS front brake of course. There is a nice document file giving some service and ownership history and it includes a Owners Handbook and workshop manual.
