If you ever wonder how good a 1970 Bonnie could be factory-fresh but aged 54 years this is your chance to find out. Unrestored but carefully (so you can only tell by looking inside) rebuilt engine, some new chrome parts like handlebars and headlight shell and exhaust system (they can’t be original items can they?) but really the more you look under the skin the more you realise this thing just hasn’t been messed with. The paint degradation is almost certainly from cleaning, it’s hardly faded but has lost some lacquer. It rides so so well. Fresh from some serious recommissioning at Classic Bike Workshop, running perfectly on points of course, clocks refurbed in period patina retaining original mileage and it even has the original standard Californian rear light extension.
