Triumph T150V Trident
This rather lovely Trident left the factory on 17th January 1973 bound for Vancouver, Canada. Imported and registered on a correct age-related number in the UK in 2003, it has three previous keepers recorded on the V5C. Mileage displayed is only 12,664 and may be correct but whilst there is some paperwork history from the UK there is nothing on file from Canadian ownership. Presented in excellent condition with fresh paintwork and some tasty modifications to standard including a floating front disc and braided hydraulic hose, classic peashooter silencers, neat little gauze pancake air filters on Mikuni carburettors and electronic ignition. With these sympathetic mods it starts and idles so easily, performs well and brakes well too. Not every Trident ticks these boxes and with the classic export style this bike really is the best a Trident gets in relatively standard spec.
This machine is offered for sale through Classic Super Bikes and comes from a cherished collection of classics, all of which have been started regularly and used from time to time. They have been well looked after and stored in excellent dry conditions with workshop facilities to keep them in good order. Most are unrestored (paint is an exception in this case) and retain their original standard specification. Some show signs of use and age, all look and sound to be in fine mechanical condition which reflects the owners priorities; classic bikes to be ridden and enjoyed. All great classic machines from a good home at excellent prices. All desirable models too, which with a little more use and attention may well prove to be good investments as well as providing some genuine riding thrills from an era so loved by those of us of a certain age.
