One-owner low-mileage unrestored UK machine with original exhaust.

First registered new in the UK on 3rd February 1982 and has remained with the same owner ever since, covering only 24,500 miles in that time. As you can see it’s been well cared for and remains in remarkably standard condition. Expect to find chips and scratches associated with this mileage in the hands of a careful responsible owner – that’s exactly how it is. In some areas condition is exceptionally good; the wheels for example. The only non-standard item of significance is the Motad exhaust system and the really good news is that the original black chrome Suzuki system is complete and ready to fit if needed. The condiditon of the original system is solid with some surface corrosion; could be cleaned and fitted as is or re-chromed. As with most well preserved machines of this age most of the mileage was done in the early years and latterly much time spent in the garage. Recently recommissioned and MOTd though, so ready to ride and enjoy. Lots of paperwork including original handbook and service book (unstamped after PDI as home-serviced by competent enthusiast). Old MOTs confirm recorded mileage is correct although we are told the speedo cable was replaced years ago and he covered about 200 miles with it broken so it’s a little higher than the clock says. Old tax discs and parts invoices confirm she’s been looked after properly, and you can clearly see this is the case. A great investment you won’t be afraid to ride, the original “Big Kat” Katana exactly as it was. The exhaust can be fitted if required, or kept for posterity but it comes with the bike.
